Today, Assia Riccio, founder of Evolvin’ Women, and I, in my role as the Corporate Advisory Board Member, had the honour of sharing the Evolvin Women story and its accomplishments to-date with His Excellency, Hakainde Hichilema, The President of my homeland Zambia.
We were accompanied by Kavita Saluja and Mumba Mumba who are avid supporters of the programme. During the engagement we were able to gain valuable insights from Isabelle Mutinta Matyola-Lemba, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Zambia.
Tabbeth Phiri and Sally Mumba, who are two of the Zambian ladies on the programme pursuing their passions for F&B and digital training, were present and shared their voyage of transformation - which is augmented with a curriculum which includes training, mentoring and other tools that drive success.
Evolvin’ Women now operates in 9 African countries and has achieved +800 employment placements in 2022 within the hospitality, luxury retail, and logistics sector in the UAE.
